Purchased a similar style watch (TAG) for my husband this past Christmas (approx. $700) and although it was ok - it was not as nice as this one - so I paid the difference of $150.00. If you want something for going out, not really the watch for you, this is instead a nice athletic style watch; something you can wear everyday.
